Bienvenid@s a la Slow Session del Cáceres Irish Fleadh 2023, el sábado 23 de septiembre a las 18.00h en el Foro de los Balbos.

La idea principal es dar a los principiantes o a l@s músic@s que lleven poco tiempo tocando la música tradicional irlandesa la oportunidad de disfrutar de una sesión con un ritmo relajado, tocando algunas de las melodías más populares del repertorio dem la session irlandesa. También eres bienvenid@ si llevas tiempo tocando esta música y puedes tocar rápido, pero te pedimos que pares el carro un poco y disfrutes tocando las melodías más despacio - añade algunos rolls e intenta sacar un tono más rico de tu instrumento - también puede ser divertido.

Tenemos que ser bastante estrictos con la velocidad, porque es muy fácil tocar más de prisa sin darse cuenta... pongamos pues el metrónomo a aprox.75-80. Hay una lista de temas, para que puedas aprenderlos antes, y si hay algún tema que no conoces, consulta la página www.thesession.org.

Welcome everybody to the Caceres Slow Session 2023, on Saturday 23rd Sept at 18:00h in Foro de los Balbos

The main idea is to give beginners or musicians who are relatively new to Irish trad music the opportunity to enjoy a session at a relaxed pace with some of the most popular tunes from the Irish session repertoire. You're also very welcome if you're an experienced player and can play fast, but we'd ask you to chill out and enjoy playing the tunes slower - give them a few more rolls,  and try to get a nicer tone from your instrument - it can be fun too. We have to be quite strict about the speed, as it's easy to go faster without noticing - so we'll set the metronome at about 75-80! There's a setlist, so people can start learning the tunes before and will be able to play along on the day - please look at www.thesession.org website if you don't know any of the tunes.
