El festival Cáceres Irish Fleadh se complace en anunciar una actividad especial dirigida a los más pequeños y sus familias: un taller-concierto bilingüe a cargo del legendario grupo folclórico irlandés The Armagh Rhymers. La cita será el sábado, 20 de septiembre, a las 12:00h en el Foro de los Balbos.
The Armagh Rhymers son una institución cultural en Irlanda, famosos por su enfoque único y didáctico de la música y la tradición. Con sus características máscaras y coloridos trajes hechos a mano, recrean una de las tradiciones más antiguas de Irlanda: la de los rhymers, músicos y narradores que iban de aldea en aldea compartiendo historias y canciones.
Durante su actuación en el Cáceres Irish Fleadh, el grupo ofrecerá una experiencia interactiva y participativa. A través de la música, los cuentos y la danza, invitarán a niños y adultos a sumergirse en la cultura irlandesa. Utilizando instrumentos tradicionales como el bodhrán y la flauta irlandesa, y alternando entre inglés y español, el taller busca educar y entretener, enseñando a la audiencia sobre la rica mitología, el folclore y la historia de la isla esmeralda.
El taller-concierto es una oportunidad perfecta para que los niños conozcan de cerca la tradición oral y musical de Irlanda de una manera divertida y dinámica. The Cáceres Irish Fleadh festival is pleased to announce a special activity for children and their families: a bilingual workshop-concert by the legendary Irish folk group The Armagh Rhymers. The event will take place on Saturday, September 20, at 12:00 PM at the Foro de los Balbos.
The Armagh Rhymers are a cultural institution in Ireland, renowned for their unique and educational approach to music and tradition. With their distinctive handmade masks and colorful costumes, they recreate one of Ireland's oldest traditions: that of the rhymers, musicians and storytellers who would travel from village to village sharing tales and songs.
During their performance at the Cáceres Irish Fleadh, the group will offer an interactive and engaging experience. Through music, storytelling, and dance, they will invite both children and adults to immerse themselves in Irish culture. El sábado 20 de septiembre, el Cáceres Irish Fleadh vivirá uno de los momentos más espectaculares y emotivos de su historia con un desfile que unirá la fuerza de dos tradiciones. Por primera vez, una banda de gaitas irlandesa actuará en las calles de Cáceres: la aclamada Newcastle West Pipe Band de Irlanda.
Junto a ellos, el pasacalles contará con el talento de la banda de gaitas Nivaria, originaria de Valladolid. Este encuentro único celebra la diversidad de la música celta y demuestra la profunda conexión cultural que existe entre Irlanda y España.
El desfile, que se espera sea una de las atracciones principales del festival, llenará el centro de la ciudad con el sonido inconfundible y vibrante de las gaitas y los tambores. On Saturday, September 20th, the Cáceres Irish Fleadh will experience one of the most spectacular and moving moments in its history with a parade that unites the power of two traditions. For the first time, an Irish pipe band will perform in the streets of Cáceres: the acclaimed Newcastle West Pipe Band from Ireland.
Joining them in the procession will be the talented Nivaria bagpipe band from Valladolid. This unique meeting celebrates the diversity of Celtic music and demonstrates the deep cultural connection between Ireland and Spain.
